what the fuck. what the FUCK. this is just so wrong. its so wrong i'm going to throw up. where do we get off proclaiming ourselves the saviour of the world coming forth from the darkness of september eleventh with enough new-found indignation and vengeance to rid the world of the evil terrorists in al qaeda, hezbollah, hamas, and other similar groups?

can't anybody see the forest for the trees? hello?! doesn't dubya, cheny, rumsfeld, ridge, tom daschle, condoleeza rice, christine todd-whitman, oprah, ANYONE for god's sake understand; that we just created fifty NEW terrorists, filled with enough new-found indignation and vengeance to rid the world of the evil terrorists in the united states military?

i don't understand, and maybe i never will, how people can be so blinded by patriotism and nationalism and vengeance. all of which lead only to war and violence. i don't know, maybe this is just some radical, starry-eyed thought, but it seems most logical to me that one should want, above all, peace. above ALL, and yes that includes revenge and boosting your ego too.
