just stop

i just really want some fearless charismatic leader to go to the west bank, and tell everyone, " just stop! israel stay on that side, and palestine stay on that side." and everyone there will say, "okay" and they will stop killing each other.

i hate that people can be so blinded by dogmatic convictions. israel is not right. palestine is not right. israel is not wrong. palestine is not wrong. both sides have committed sins. both sides have killed innocent people.

but everyone deserves a homeland. and everyone deserves peace.

but i still can't help but sympathize with one side just a little more. Israel's military just killed 15 people--nine of them children--with a state-of-the-art missile, and they have so much more advanced materiel at their fingertips. palestine's military consists of pre-pubescent boys throwing stones at passing cars.

does anyone else see anything wrong with this picture?
