fini finalement

well . . . the semester ended exactly the way it began, with a garden veggie sandwich at Panera in Friendship Heights. I'm not sure what to think. I still don't understand how it can take an eternity for my soup to finish in the microwave, and yet this semester has gone by before i can even catch my breath.

in so many ways i am glad to be going home. i really really miss you all back home and can't wait to just hang out and chill with everyone who is reading this. and there are some people here that are getting a little difficult to deal with at this point. but there are also a couple people (or one person . . .) that i will miss a lot. and even though i am craving now to go home and relax, i know it will be a matter of days before i am bored out of my mind and want to go back to school!

its still so hard to believe that i am halfway through college. that next semester -- yes next semester, not far in the distant future like it always seemed before-- i will be studying abroad. this year has been good though. i think i'll look back on fondly. :)
