west wing

well today i had to go to work unfortunately, but at least it was a little more exciting. For some reason The West Wing decided to film an episode in Annapolis. Something about the military and a funeral. go figure. Anyway so they were doing the filming right at church circle right by my work. by like noon everyone in my office has met martin sheen and everyone else and gotten pictures and autographs . . . except me. i don't know i don't watch the west wing, except that one time in leadership gateway, and i'm not really one of those people who accosts celebrities because i generally don't give a fuck about them. but then one woman who works there, marsha, was like, come on rebecca we goin out there, and i said okay, and we were standing out on the corner of duke of gloucester and church circle, and all these extras were walking by, and then comes martin sheen, walking right in front of my face. he already had a bunch of people talking to him, so i wasn't about to go up to him despite marsha's insistence, but he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. short. then later, when i was running an errand, i saw them shoot the scene where the motorcade drives up around church circle and stops and martin sheen gets out and so does stockard channing. so yeah. that was pretty cool.
