somewhere between
i don't know why i thought that as soon as i returned home things would just snap back into their usual routine . . . this summer is very different from previous years. no one is ever around. working, school, puerto rico . . . or maybe just decided to stop calling. i think i have spent more time with my parents this summer than i did throughout my entire adolescence. there are some people i really miss seeing every day . .. and others about whom i am rather indifferent. but i guess this is just how things go . . . we are all moving on with their lives, farther away from where we were two years ago . . . .on another note, i just remembered . . . . if any of you are thinking of studying abroad, particularly in france, spain, italy, ireland, england, australia, mexico, or costa rica, then i strongly suggest going with CEA, mostly because if i refer you and you go i get $50-$100. but seriously, i would strongly reccomend them anyway -- at least with my program, i can honestly say that they were the nicest and most helpful people and that i definitely got my money's worth -- lots of meals, excursions, etc were included. they have locations in many cities and regions throughout each country and you have the option of living in a homestay, an apartment or in some locations a dorm. you can go for the summer, a semester or a year. for more information and to apply, just go to www.gowithcea.com! okay, i apologize for that, but i figure it might be worth a try . . .
